A press release from the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine announces Dean C. Taylor MD COL (ret), USA, as president for 2023-2024.
Taylor is a professor of orthopedic surgery at Duke University Medical Center and the chair of the Feagin Leadership Program. Taylor has been the team physician at Duke University Athletics since 2006. He graduated from West Point Military Academy and served 24 years in the Army before retiring as a colonel.
Taylor was appointed president, succeeding Mark D. Miller.
