Johnson & Johnson MedTech has announced DePuy Synthes received FDA 510(k) clearance of the TriALTIS spine system and navigation-enabled instruments, according to a press release.
TriALTIS spine is a posterior thoracolumbar screw system that can be used by patients suffering from degenerative, tumour, trauma, and deformity conditions. According to the release, TriALTIS navigation enabled instruments include drills (taps), screwdrivers (screwdrivers) and taps. They can be used either with navigation or without.
