WASHINGTON — Results presented here showed that an inferior sagittal position of a Hill-Sachs lesion may be associated with increased failure risk of primary arthroscopic Bankart repair.
Ting Cong MD, and his colleagues performed a retrospective cohort analysis of data on 176 patients (mean, age, 20.6, 69.3 % contact sport participation), who had primary Bankart surgery between 2007-2019 for lesions located in the track. They aimed to find out if the location of a Hill Sachs lesion was associated with the risk of Bankart treatment failure.
