According to a recent press release, OrthoCarolina announced Leo Spector MD, MBA as its new CEO.
Spencer, a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon, succeeds Bruce Cohen, MD, who has stepped down as CEO and will return to practice at OrthoCarolina’s Foot & Ankle Institute. Spencer will be appointed CEO in 2024, according to a release.
Spencer served in various roles over the course of his 17-year career with OrthoCarolina. He was most recently the chief quality officer and chairperson of the quality and values committee.
