Harvard MedTech’s virtual reality platform, Vx Therapy was used in a collaboration study with Rothman orthopaedics.
The study focuses on the psychosocial determinants in orthopaedic surgery patients, and is designed to evaluate Vx Therapy combined with other surgical procedures.
Vx Therapy is an in-home combination of cognitive behavioral therapy with remote sessions. It was presented as a way to reduce pain and behavioral conditions for patients with chronic cervical or lumbar spinal disorders.
