It’s a special place to live for many of its residents, but for some, the dark reality of abuse and sex trafficking mean this island isn’t a safe place. Back2Back is learning slowly about the crisis and is seeking Jesus to help them.
Back2Back D.R. The Back2Back D.R. site is unique in that it empowers caregivers and leaders to provide Trauma Competent care to vulnerable children. Hope and Cheque travel across the country teaching children safe and healing techniques.
At the moment, D.R. The D.R. team currently works with two ministries in Santiago. House of Hope, a local church, are both located within impoverished areas. They assist young children and teens who’ve fallen through the educational cracks in the city through tutoring and .Nurture Groups.
The staff work hard to share the love of Jesus Christ and lead children, teens and adults to healing by Trauma Competent Care training. They seek out vulnerable families and help to create safe, consistent spaces .
