
NEW ORLEANS — In this video, Jason L. Dragoo, MD, discusses how implementation of the National Biorepository Network of the Biologic Association has allowed surgeons to examine platelet-rich plasma more thoroughly.
“Every patient we treat, we take a bit of their PRP and we study it in the laboratory. We follow these patients for many months and years to see how they do,” Dragoo told Healio. “We can correlate what’s in their PRP with how they do over time, and we found some interesting things right from the beginning.”
