Some of the scripture-recorded proverbs are quite confusing. They are all inspiring and full of wisdom, practical insight and wisdom. However, some of them seem unusual when viewed through modern eyes. We can still learn many valuable lessons and principles for our children and ourselves if we look closely.

Proverbs 27,14 is a great example of one of those perplexing and intriguing insights. There are many possible interpretations. However, we know more about children’s brain chemistry. [who have experienced trauma]I have come to realize that there is another interpretation or explanation.
