Thengai Poornam Kozhukattai/Ukadiche Modak recipe is a festive sweet that’s made for Lord Ganesha Birthday. Also known as Vinayaka, or Ganesh chaturthi and observed during the months of August-September.

It is celebrated in most parts of India for 10 days. Kozhukattai is a staple food offered to Lord Ganesha and eaten by everyone on this day. It’s a steamed, rice-filled dumpling filled with coconut, jaggery, or lentils.
