How should journalists handle political candidates who falsely claim the safety and efficacy of vaccines? Now that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. – a prominent anti-vaccine activist – has officially entered 2024’s presidential race, this question needs to be answered.

South Carolina, meanwhile, is now one of only a few southern states to have passed an abortion ban. This makes the procedure virtually impossible to access for many women in this part of the United States.
